2010 Third generation Toyota Prius

The third-generation 2010 Toyota Prius is being touted as a midsize, due to its cabin space, and now comes equipped with unique available features such as a moonroof with solar panels to run a/c fans, four driving modes, LED exterior lights, 15-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels, Intelligent Parking Assist and steering wheel touch controls that display on the instrument panel.

A new 1.8-litre 4-cylinder engine with an electric water-pump and a new exhaust gas recirculation system increase engine’s efficiency. The VVTi engine offers 98 hp and 142 Nm of torque alone, while the permanent-magnet synchronous motor makes 80 hp and 207 Nm. That somehow adds up to 134 hp of net power, with a massive 349 Nm of torque. Toyota estimates fuel economy ratings to be 4.7 litres/100 km in upcoming U.S. EPA government testing.
