Honda rolled out its new compact car Jazz in Bangalore. Jazz will be available in three types in manual transmission :: Jazz, Jazz Mode & Jazz Active. The car can be availed in six vi brant colours :: Habanero Red, Deep Sapphire Blue, Sherbet Blue, Alabaster Silver, Taffetta White and Crystal Black Pearl.
The four-cylinder, 1198 cc state of the art i-VTEC engine of Honda Jazz car will come with Programmed Fuel Injection technology. The new technology will allow the engine to develop a healthy 90PS @ 6,200 rpm and a decent torque figure of 112Nm @ 4800 rpm.
It is capable of returning a fuel efficiency of 16.1 kmpl, which is confirmed from ARAI test data. The 1.2 i-VTEC engine of Jazz met the Euro IV emission norms and is E10 compatible like other Honda engines.
The Honda Jazz comes with a 2+2 years or 80,000 kms warranty and four years roadside assistance as standard value for all Jazz buyers. While the Jazz type has been priced at Rs 7.15 lakh ex-showroom Bangalore, the Jazz Mode comes with a tab of Rs 7.45 lakh and Jazz Active Rs 7.50 lakh.
